Full-Time Customer Care Consultant (Mobile Phone)

Job Description

The Customer Care Consultant will be mainly focusing in delivering unmatched customer experience at retail through showcasing products and lifestyle services, creating sales opportunities through effective conversations, providing advisory and after sales support to customers. Be a Maxis ambassador who believes that face-to-face interactions play an important role in creating LIKE moments for customers.

What are you accountable for?

  • Conducting product demonstrations, execution of retail activities and application of effective salestechniques to understand customer needs and promote relevant products and services
  • Create conversations and engage with the customers to convert into sales opportunities
  • Professionally and accurately handle customers’ enquiries and requests by applying good knowledge of modern tools, policies and processes
  • Providing customers with advisory, product ownership experience and good after sales support
  • Effectively executing administrative tasks, including operational and reconciliation reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Get involved and contribute in process improvement projects, trainings, and ad-hoc team/individual competitions.
  • Proactively promote self-serve and conduct product tutorials to customers
  • Adherence to quality and compliance to standard policies and procedures

What do you need to have for this role?

  • Higher Secondary / STPM / Professional Certificate / Diploma or its equivalent
  • Relevant work experience of minimum 4 years in telecommunications or retail industries preferred. Experience in showcasing and conducting product demonstrations preferred.
  • Tech savvy and computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written English language
  • Obsessed with customers, passionate about sales, competitive spirit, and understands people through interactive conversations
  • Mandarin-speaking is an added advantage
  • Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, Collaborative, Creative, A self-starter, Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment, a team player and leadership qualities
  • No fraud cases/blacklist history
